The full-time and part-time ESOL, IT and Sewing courses have
started at CYCD in partnership with Barnfield College. A large number
of people from different ethnic backgrounds are attending these
courses.
CSSP organised another very successful 4 week Summer play
scheme from 28th July 2008 to 22nd August 2008. 208 young people
attended. 84 girls and 124 boys from different backgrounds
participated in various accredited courses which included Save a Life
Course, FA Junior Football Organiser, Radio Broadcasting &
Presenting and a Cycling Course. They also participated in various
indoor & outdoor sports competitions, arts & craft workshops,
cultural workshops, and other educational and recreational activities.

A two week summer play scheme for children with disabilities was also
organised by the CYCD Access Disability Project where 22 children with
disabilities from different backgrounds participated in various educational,
training & recreational activities.
