Asian Drugs Information Befriending Outreach Project

ADIBOP is a service that caters for the need of all local communities, by raising drug and alcohol awareness in a culturally sensitive manner.

SERVICES OFFERED:

CLIENT WORK:
Information and support for drug    users (counselling, exploring drug use, reducing risks of drug and alcohol use, home visits, telephone based, etc.)

FAMILY SUPPORT:
Information, support and understanding of drug related issues, home visits, staff who speak English, Urdu, Phari and Bengali

SIGNPOSTING & REFERRALS:
Where there is a need other organisations will be involved (drug treatment, housing, employment, etc.)

SCHOOL WORK:
PSHE drug education in classrooms, targeted focus groups (awareness and decreasing harms from drug use, etc.), one to one work with specific students and staff training

COMMUNITY BASED WORK:
Raising drugs awareness and cultural issues in mosques, community centres and groups, youth clubs, etc. through workshops and stalls

All services provided are free, confidential and non-judgemental.
