Access Disability Project

Access Disability Project (ADP) aims to change negative attitudes towards disability  within the South Asian Communities by focusing on each young    person’s abilities, by giving them opportunities to develop to their full potential and by demonstrating that each child or young person is valued.

 We will offer your child:

  • Three free sessions per week
  • ALL school holidays activities. The provision is mixture of daytime and evening activities including trips to various educational, recreational and adventure centre
  • A range of activities including board games, painting, creative arts & craft, poster making, watching films, playing computer games &   play-station, using the internet, snooker , bouncy castle, football and cricket
  • Fun and friendship with children and other young adults
  • One-to-one & group support of a personal key worker and carer
  • Opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved, in the activities of the group
  • Equipment for both indoor and outdoor play in a safe, secure and stimulating environment
  • To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families
  • Provide own wheelchair accessible minibus for the children to bring the Centre & drop of home

 Our ADP session times:

 Tuesday session:  6.00 PM – 9.00 PM    Friday session: 6.00 PM – 9.00 PM

Saturday session: 5.00 PM – 9.00 PM

 School Holidays Sessions: Mixture of daytime and evening

 This service is for young people with disabilities living in Luton aged 9 to 26 years.
