Little Stars Pre-school Children Raise Money for BBC Children In Need
On 21st October 2011 the pre-school team organised a cake sale to raise money for BBC children in need. The cakes were all made by our pre-school children and staff who all worked tremendously hard to make all the different yummy cakes.
The day saw a good turn over as our parents and other members of the public brought lots of cakes and we raised £120 in total. The children had lots of fun helping to make the cakes and were very eager to get their parents to get their pennies out to buy them. The children were very excited about the cake sale and one of our parents said “their child had told them, he had a dream about eating all the cakes when he woke up in the morning” which was very funny to hear.
The day went well and we will be donating this money raised to BBC children in need.
